
From 10-11 April 2006, Student Days were held in Renningen, Germany. They were organised by students of the High-school Renningen with the support of the Agenda 21, the Student Council of the school, the youth council of Renningen, the municipality and the governing body of the school.
In nine different wrkshops with themes around the “One World”, the 200 participating students between the age of 15-18 could broaden their knowledge about political and social issues of our world.
PLENUM
In order to get into the theme “One World, we held before the workshos a common plenary session with the participants and facilitators. During the game “the world as a global village”, the pupils experienced how many people do not have acces to education, clean water and telecommunication. That followed a presentation of the UN Millennium Development Goals. In a second plenum after the workshops, the participants presented their results.

Barbara Streibl and Silvia Dulau presented their pictures that were made in a special art class of their school.
11th of April - Film: “Children of heaven”
The film told the history of a young boy in Iran who looses the shoes of his sister whithout which she can not go to school.
